life-i am motivated to live a happy life

I try to stay drama,stress and worry free as much as i can. I strive to do things that make me happy and avoid others that could damage my swag. I find it sad when people are unhappy with there lives because there is so many great things in the world. The whole goal of life is to be happy and i think people almost forget about this. They are to concerned with everything and don't remember what they are doing it for

feelings i feel

1.      playing lacrosse        brings me great joy.

2. Seeing     poem assignments      frustrates me to no end.

3.         watching the titanic    creates in me deep sadness. 

4. I am grateful for    my family             .

5. Knowing    my homework is done        grants me peace.

6.       failure     scares me beyond belief.

7. I find acceptance from    my friends    .

8.  no snow in january         surprises me.

9. I am utterly disgusted by   people under the age of 60 wearing fedoras  .

10. Anxiety is created in my life by worrying about those i care about     .

11. I am most offended when people    tell me i am not good at something      .

12. I have never felt more grief than when  my uncle died          .

13. More than anything I hope for a financially secure future  .

14. I worry too much about   relationships     .

15. Sometimes, I envy  Bradley Cooper    .

December 7th 1941, Pearl Harbor was bombed
Cries were heard throughout the harbor
Bombs sent flames through the skys
Japan thought they had no choice
They carried out their attack with success
Our backs were put up against the wall
The U.S.S Arizona still lies under water

I Am From

Swiss Watch

I am from watch from lowen and swiss.

I am from the bloody nuckled.

I am from the rose, the daisy.
I am from grandmothers house visits and slave hands from papa and uncle artie and dad.

I am from the tempered and the patient.

From no addiction and having patience.

I am from no god, just real facts, screws, moving parts. 
I'm from the United States but German, steak and potatoes.

From the papa who chopped chickens heads off for money,  the hardworking, and the brave.

I am from the shelf where no one knew, the safe where I was locked, kept secret and not to be found. For if lost, all family tradition is ruined.

The creepy crawly caterpillar went from canada to mexico
But the caterpilla was really a smuggler of drugs
cause a journey like that cant be handle by a bug
He is a small man and no thug
hes just tryin to make himself a life
With a few kids and wife
hes gotta provide but he has to be a mule
to send over drugs for crackheads fuel
he has to cross the borders with stash
So he hides it in the back with a bag of trash
hes not a bad guy but does what he has to
to get money to at least get some shoes
he tries to get out of the bussiness
But needs to get presents for christmas
he is killed in a robbery months later
when he could have just worked as a waiter

I feel like this connects to my life because it talks about who you associate with in my opinion. People have their own choice of who they want to be with and whether that is a good or a bad thing it is all up to you. For instance some people get mixed in the wrong crowd like the rats and swine and i will choose to be with good people.

TU tuesday-tanka

I think that this was a very meaningful event in which the poets placed great tribute to those who suffered during the tsunami. Yueko Sawabe wrote a very nice tanka because she "works at a medical facility in northeastern Fukushima prefecture, a region hit hard" by the tsunami. It was so devastating and hard the for the people on Japan because The earthquake and tsunami left nearly 20,000 people dead or missing and set off the world's worst nuclear crisis since Chernobyl in 1986".

This connected to me because this winter there has been little Snow I keep hoping to get some so i can play outside and snowboard or have snow ball fights. I am hoping that we get more in the later part of this winter. I have been able to spend some time outside in these past few months due to the high temperature. It has seemed like very early spring.

a 60 year old man ( Anthony Fiordelisi) killed his 80 year old mother because he didn't want her to see him kill himself. This man is obviously seriously mentally ill."He went to kill him self by taking numerous pills and by slitting his wrists but later called 911 reporting he was injured". This is a sickening event and this man is an idiot. He didn't want his mother to see him kill himself so he kills her but doesn't end up killing himself in the end. What could have been going through his head? What made his decision rational in his own mind? These are questions we ask ourselfs.
"A murder–suicide is an act in which an individual kills one or more other persons immediately before or at the same time as him or herself. The motivation for the murder in murder–suicide can be purely criminal in nature or be perceived by the perpetrator as an act of care for loved ones in the context of severe depression." This is taken from Wikipedia under the search 'suicide'. This is exactly what this man wanted to accomplish.
Also "11 attempted suicides occur per every suicide death". Provided by National Institute of Mental Health.

pep talk

i chose the pep talk phrase "lets hear your battle cry"

I guess this applies to me because during lacrosse or football games i let out a battle cry. only during times of exceptional baller-ness or an extremely exciting moment to pump up my teammates.It could be motivational but mostly just for fun. Also when i truly don't want to do something that i need to do i will let out a little yell to get going.

3)Ladainian Tomlinson, He is a future hall of fame running back and i would be blessed to be as good as him

5)sugar ray leonard he is a great boxer and if i could fight like him noone would mess with me
6) bruce lee he also is a great fighter and movie actor and i well respected man
7) vince lombardi he was a hall of fame football coach and one day i hope to be a coach
8)george lucas he is a great film producer that created star wars and other famous movies and he probably got a lot of money
