Poise: She did seem like she was comfortable talking to us because she made eye contact with us and wasn't uptight. She connected to me personally by suggesting possible topics I could use for my acting skit thing.
Clarity: She pronounced words pretty clearly and I could understand everything she said. She was pretty straight forward and was not confusing at all.
Volume: she was not quiet at all and i could certainly hear her. She talked fairly loud at some point especially during her first monolog.
Information: She did have useful tips on how to present and act. She provided good reasoning to back her information up. She deffinetly had some useless information in there too. For example when she started telling us about her son and that useless story.
Organization:She was pretty collected and knew what she wanted to talk about. For example whenever she talked.
I didn't have much to say. Nikki had a good situational question asking "what if you completely forget your lines" and that contributed to the discussion.
I think that you should not allow her to come back next year because her monologs were hella annoying. I suggest you do away with the whole monolog project to save the children next year.

This doesnt make any sense at all but whatever.
http://www.timesunion.com/sports/article/Lin-s-amazing-story-gets-a-thrilling-finish-3331885.php#photo-2496230
This was about how Jeremy Lin is becoming a big hit in the NBA. He came off the bench and has helped the Knicks win 6 consecutive games. He hit a buzzer beat to win the game last night agianst Toronto. He is getting a lot of publicity because he is doing so well and because he's asian. The Knicks were struggling in the beggining of the season. "Their season sputtering just two weeks ago, before Lin escaped the bench, the Knicks (14-15)".
Jeremy Lin is also a modest person and "deflects the praise to his teammates"

valentines day
"when i looked up and saw cupid with his bow, i knew we were in trouble" so i yelled to Drew Carrey to move. I jumped right out of the way just in time to dodge the arrow but Drew wasn't so lucky. He got up and the first person he saw was Roseanne Barr. I knew after that he would be doomed for all eternity. I had to help him for fear that he would be stuck with such a nagging woman. So i went to the bank and got a few hundred dollars from my savings and set out to find cupid. As the day progressed i got a tip from someone he was at the downtown bar. So i walked up and sat next to him at the bar and slid over the money making an attempt to bribe him. He accepted and gave me a magic potion that reverses the spell he put on Drew. I went over to Drew 's crib and sure enough he was watching a 1994 episode of Roseanne. It was a gruesome sight so I struggled to keep my eyes off the tv screen. I knew he would never take it so i slipped it in his drink. I made sure he drank it all because i gave him Jalapeno potato chips. He downed the glass and soon snapped out of it. Realizing what he was watching he ran out of the room and hid in the closet. I had ended up saving the day and rescuing my dear friend from the enchantment of love.

Have them pick from lists of Characters, settings and times such as
Characters
-jazz flute artist
-old woman
-homeless man
-rich man
-insomniac
-organizer of a charity
Settings
-a party
-the woods
-a shack
-large mansion
-New York City
Times

-when hunting
-after a drug bust
-after winning the lottery
-before going on a trip
so an example would be
A young jazz artist trying to make it in the industry travels around to find work. He records in studios in various cities and tries to land gigs at bars. After months of searching he finally finds a few jazz musicians in New York City. They get a few jobs working at restaurants and get a concert in the park. An agent discovers them and signs them. They begin to record and feature on a hit song with Lady Gaga and get a lot of money. As their musical career progresses and their fame increases they hang out with famous people. They went to a party with a lot of big musical names. They get into some trouble and after the party find themselves in jail. This earns them a bad reputation and their new fragile musical careers slowly break apart. They earn a bad reputation and end up getting dropped from their record label. As they don't keep producing popular hits they fade out of the music world.

scruples
you are drafted in a war that you think is unjust Do you refuse and risk prison?
I would certainly go i'm not Mohammad Ali. I don't feel like going to prison and you could make money in the army. But it would be very dangerous and there are certainly cons to this situation. I don't really know what i would oppose so much and i am not a gypsy like that ill do what i have to do. It is also selfish if you refuse to go. You are not helping your country and using tax money up sitting in prison.

are you like...why
are you more like a map or a microphone
Aaron T. Castellana "a microphone because i am very talkative and communicate to others through words"
Shelly Johnston "i am more like a map because i like to lead people"
Robert Johnston "i find myself as a map because i like following directions"
Kate Johnston " microphone because i like everyone to hear me"
Amanda Justiniano " i am like a map because i like to guide people"
Marc DuMoulin "a map because i feel my life is headed in the right direction"

he is a huge sports fan and has been a sports columnist for 4 years. "He came here 21 years ago" meaning Times Union and thought he would only work there a few years but i guess longer. He also "thinks the Capital Region is one of the best places anywhere to live and raise a family". I live in the capital region and i agree.
I learned the way to defeat the Patriots in the Superbowl is to "Exploit their secondary ". The way to to beat the Giants is to "Utilize the tight end(s) and force Eli Manning to throw late and over the middle." I think the giants will win because of the fact like Mark says "Manning has been that outstanding in the fourth quarter". The way to win football games is to finish strong in the 4th quarter and thats what Eli Manning has consistently been doing.
